So the kids on the YouTubes are doing this thing, where they edit a thing to make it look like another thing. They call it “editing.” We guess, using a computer device, they can rearrange video to make it look like it means something else. It’s like Notepad, only for video. Where do they keep this on our DOS?
It sounds crazy, but they are even “editing” comedy movies into trailers that make the movies look scary. Here are The 8 Best Horror Remixes Of Comedy Movie Trailers.
8. Mrs.Doubtfire
This isn’t how we remember the movie at all. We’ll check our VHS, but we don’t remember it being scary or in the incorrect aspect ratio.
7. Crocodile Dundee
We feel this could use more knife, or possibly more kangaroos (tigers of the outback), but other than that, not too shabby.
6. When Harry Met Sally
Today we’ve learned that nothing is scarier than a scary font, except maybe Bill Crystal running.
5. Home Alone
America’s favorite comedy about irresponsible parenting and burglar torture is turned into a thriller about shovel-murder.
4. You’ve Got Mail
There’s a theme going with this list, and that is Meg Ryan is stalkable. There’s another theme. That nerdy comedy guys can be creepy with the right editing. Or without any editing at all, if you happen to be us (Girls, please ignore this).
3. Sleepless In Seattle
In this one, Meg Ryan is the stalker. Finally some women’s rights on this list. Our bodies, ourselves guys.
2. The Incredibles
Who looks at two hours of footage from The Incredibles and sees a scary ghost movie in there? An editor, that’s who. An editor or maybe a ghost.
1. Superbad
The most recent of the movies, and possibly the best re-cut. Probably done by a 12-year-old with iMovie.
Our only criticism of these is that there weren’t enough Dinosaurs Talking. If these trailers aren’t enough for you, check out some more with the 8 Funniest Recut Movie Trailers.
