Nerds are inherently a non-violent breed. Just ask a bully. However, nerds love pretending to fight, especially fighting things that don’t exist, like Orcs and Jedis. Luckily, they also love recording their “battles,” which is how we have the 16 Most Ridiculous Nerd Fights On YouTube. Just wait, it’s like the NFL for nerds.
16. Segway Jousting
You could be boning a stripper while getting a tattoo of a machete, but if you are doing that on a Segway, you’re still a nerd. These guys are especially nerdy, since they not only are Renaissance Faire guys, they’re afraid to really hit each other.
These guys aren’t quite as bad, but probably still pull in less tail than the chess team.
15. LARPing
If you don’t know what LARPing is, congrats. You’ve probably have had sex. LARP stands for “live action role playing,” basically a game of “Dungeons and Dragons” but with the nerds actually dressed up and pretending to be elves and crap.

13. Nerds Fighting Over Video Game
Most of the “fighting” on this list is just nerds pretending to be something besides a nerd, then pretending to fight a Pokemon or an elf or something. However, these two gamers have stopped being polite, and started getting real. They aren’t fighting jocks or bears, but other nerds is a good place to start.
12. Rubber Band Gunfight
According to the description of this video, it is “Awesomer than you think.” Wrong again, YouTube video description.
11. The Nerdiest “Star Wars” Fight Ever
We haven’t seen every “Star Wars” fight out there (yet), but this slow, awkward battle between two tweens with PVC pipe is uncool in every single way, from the static camera work, to the unathletic “fighting,” that it may live up to its title.
10. Unicycle Jousting
Before the Segway, the unicycle was the geekiest way to travel. Unlike a regular bike, you can’t even get a girl to ride on the handle bars of a unicycle. Date canceled.
9. Neo Vs. Smith Fight
Did these guys decide to do this, then go out and get the ridiculous Neo outfit, or did they get the Neo outfit first, then start getting ideas?
8. “Dragon Ball” Real Life
I think more people saw this then the live action “Dragon Ball Z” movie.
7. The Bestest Fight At MegaCon
Mastering a martial art allows to you do cool things like break boards with your hand and get in karate fights, but this guy decides to blow all his cool mojo by entering a contest while dressed a character from “Final Fantasy.” However, there are girls giggling the whole way through this video, so “Cloud” might be onto something.
6. NYC Pillow Fight 2009
The only people who should be allowed to pillow fight are young children and tipsy, barely dressed sorority girls. But never, ever mix these two groups.
5. Sakura Ino And Cosplay Fight!
By nerd standards, these two are pretty hot and pretty female. By fighting-prowess standards, they could have been recruited from the glee club.
4. Guilmon Vs. Snake
Don’t act like you’ve never wondered what would happen if Solid Snake from the “Metal Gear” games met up with a Digimon.
3. Pokemon Cosplay Battle
It can’t get any nerdier than a man in a bad Pikachu costume pretending to fight three giant penises, right? WRONG. Midway though the “battle,” this guy pulls out a guitar and “Rickrolls” his opponents with a little Rick Astley. Just hearing about this video doesn’t just decrease your chances of getting laid in the future, it makes you forget the sex you’ve had in the past.
2. Cardboard Tube Fighting League
This is like LARPing for hipsters, and really, what are hipsters besides nerds with snootier music taste?
1. LARP Battle for Azeroth
This is a giant group of nerds acting out characters from “World Of Warcraft” IRL (In real life). The sheer number of these guys (and girls) is amazing
